"Righteousness is the Balance that Determines the Fate."

Oh Lord, it is recorded in
the Holy Scriptures of
antiquity, that You descended
down unto the plain of Mamre,
where Your friend, Abraham
lived...

And there, You ate, fellow-shipped
and revealed unto him things
that were to come

You told him of a son, Isaac whom
Sarai would bear, even in her old
age; and that through him, he would
become a Father of many nations; and,
then, You told him of a pending disaster

You told him of fire that from Heaven
would fall; turning five cities of the
plain, into a burned-up charred
memorial that would become an
allegory for millenias to come, that
would teach men how to circumvent
what could be doom

But we see that Abraham plead with
the Lord for the souls of these cities
and through his intercession, they
were being weighed in the balance

He bartered with the Lord, all the way
down from 50 to 10; as to whether or
not, those many lives were Righteous
within

But sadly, there were not even 10, as
we see, eventually only Abraham's
four family members were able to flee

But the underlying Truth that we can
glean from this historical event become
parable is, that a Moral standing was
what in the end determined the fate of
these cities

If there would have been more Righteousness
in the hearts of the men, then their homes
and lives could have been extended

So, let us Guard our hearts with all Diligence
because out of it comes the issues that
destroy or save our lives, and, do not let us
take for granted that our homes or cities or
even our nation, will always be here; because
unbeknownst to us, in the twinkling of an eye,
it could all just...

Disappear

Proverbs 11:1-4,
1 A false balance is abomination to the Lord:
but a just weight is his delight.
2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame:
but with the lowly is wisdom.
3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall
destroy them.
4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but
righteousness delivereth from death.
5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct
his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own
wickedness.
