Because obvious alternatives are available.
Like OS, oral sex!
You can't get pregnant offering your mouth as a vagina.
OS is less degrading than killing your baby.
Also,the other form of OS is available:
Him using his tongue for a penis.
Yes, with those two forms of OS at one's disposal
There's no excuse for defiling the womb
By turning it into an "execution chamber."

In nature wheat grows as kernels.
But we turn it into flour for pasta,bread, cake, etc.
We have improved on nature.
Likewise with sex and giving birth and motherhood.
It can be thought of as ordinary, mundane, animal activity.
But civilization and religion lifts it up onto a pedestal.
Turning it into something higher, loftier,
Something holy, sacred, extraordinary.
The logical extension of the glorification of Motherhood
has to be the glorification of Children and Childhood.
Part of which is the granting of personhood to the fetus.
(Forget the embryo for the time being.)
