"Self Exposed"
We are all journalist telling a story to gain ones friendship
Why should I expose myself to you
Given that I have already shared my opinion with you
Should I throw away all my secrets
Allowing you to walk upon them how you please
Let there be an awkward silence for us to think and reflect
I am not afraid to face myself
To think about who I am or once was
Then again if I don’t share my life I am unable to be your friend
Is it mandatory to cut away my already shattered flesh & skin
In order for you to take a glimpse into my bones
Yet if I wallow in myself
I don’t expect for you to follow in
Still I claim not to be selfish with my own self
I don’t have to share me with noone else
I am aware that in order to know someone I must give and also take
What if I’m not ready to unfold
What if my knotts and bows are too tight for me to let go
My hands have given me the opportunity to express myself
Even though I remain within
My words are never speechless..
