"commander"
"chief commanding officer" (which i find a bit redundant)
"executive"
"president"
"CEO" (another which, i again, find redundant)
"principal" (which also means owed money. let that sink in for a second.)
"capitol" (again meaning money, or again meaning power)
"lawmaker"
"tyrant"
"pharaoh"
"sovereign"
"monarch"
"judge"
"chancellor"
"furhur"
"potentate"
"dictator"
All of these titles and words to describe people who find themselves (and in reality only are in their heads and those whom they control the content ofs heads) above others in any way.
All of these words to describe men in power who took their power without one decent or humane human trait. So when will we stop listening to idle threats from our born equals? When will we as grown men and women stop taking orders from equal men and women as though they have come prepackaged and better equipped for the world than us? We do indeed hold these truths to be self evident to this day now more than ever and all women and men are indeed created equally.
In light of this excessively long list I will now leave you with this very short one.
There are very precious few words for equality.
Likewise there are very precious few words that mean peace.
Perhaps if we stopped finding new ways to say how we rule over one another and spent just slightly more time discovering new ways to say we love and respect each other and honoring ourselves by gladly and proudly teaching our children the same... just maybe the world would be a happier place to live in.
