If I am to teach my son; who is yet unborn
I will teach him time honored principles:
Principles that will make him and not break him
Principles that will put him at par with the truth
I will teach him Civility; Hate kills, Love builds
I will teach him tolerance; Your beliefs guide- An inch give not to appease a soul
I will teach him respect; For self and others
I will teach him loyalty; To the flag that flies above -
To families and friends
I will teach him of greater power; Seek Him -
And He will help
I will teach him the beauty of freedom; Respect the forefathers -
Enjoy it
I will teach him obedience to the law; break it -
And it will break you
I will teach him respect for his body; ignore it -
And you will pay a frightful price
I will teach him the quality of charity; Give and give and give
And finally, I will teach him that ;
On all this he has a choice -
To either learn to live right or decide to live wrong.
