The Perfect Day
Wake up early because I didn't want to miss one second, one minute or hour and it was so worth it. I've always had shitty birthdays, the parents would fight and I would be left to my own devices in my room. This time though we had a great feast and my close friends attended and I actually got some decent presents.First some breakfast at Hardies, best chicken sandwich of my life. Then Guitar Center to jam out with a pink fender I've wanted forever. A very special guy got me to fall in love with him all over again. I laughed and wept and I got chocolate. I know this isn't a poem but I needed to let this out. I have never had a good birthday ever since my father died but today....was perfect.
