Soft is soft

Having a heart is it really so bad
Being a softie at times makes us sad
Understanding, is really a crime
Talking to people is wasting our time?
Caring and sharing is giving a dam
Wanting to help others stuck in a jam
Being too soft is at times a trial
Walk in my shoes, you wont stretch a mile
Ill be who i am, be it right or wrong
Its my life i walk, the path is so long
But things here to learn are not always easy
Days of the week are not always breezy
But who we are is learning to be
The best we can find far deep within me
