'My-The-Illogical Climate'

*The statement in quotations at the beginning of this
was said to me by a coworker, I'm not sure who he was quoting
but he asked me to see if I could 'expand' on the thought
N if anyone knows me by now...well you know I HAD to
twist it up a bit! :) *




"What I've done in life
Echoes an eternity..."

It's 11: 57pm, yet awakened
my senses,
in tune with the consensus
that too many
lie in a senseless fog
n' since this is 2000+ years
man's progression has been logged
I wander within my 'cog-
-nay-cents'
isn't worth the price paid
from whence progress
had been made
when faced with the fact
that the mileage
in the age of man
leaves him stilled,
as he stands
idle...

in futile searches
for a past
foretold in days of old,
sadly lost
in a generational stranglehold

that seems bound n' determined
to be less than their worth
when God intended all
to shine brightly
like nuggets of pure gold...

As those who seek, will ever
ponder...

whatever became of we?
n'  what have I done in this life
that will   reverberate for an eternity..?
