The Right Knight

I feel for the "good guys."
Considering myself to be one of them.
We gladly go out of our way
To make sure the women in our lives want for nothing.

We do it for our mothers, sisters, friends, wives.
We even do it for strangers.
We don't ask for recognition.
But we hope that our kindness is appreciated.

And when it comes to finding a relationship,
We are the ones who hear the broken record the loudest:
"There just aren't any good men."
We're right here!

Where is it written that good guys must be banned to the "friend zone?"
We don't have ulterior motives.
We just actually care, deeply.
And believe me, we can be way more fun than the bad boys.

Boys...that's all they are.
We hope that you will come around eventually.
