Tears in the rain
We are the bittersweet modern dance
of 50-50 relationships
where everybody talks divorce
without speaking the language of love
And I wear her diamonds like crystalline fractures
in the creases of my face
balancing out the scar tissue romances
we whisper behind closed doors
Because it doesn’t matter that I’m still in love
with the epic last song of our passions
that fade like life from a corpse;
I’m still hiding my tears in the rain
