eyeing the sumptuous V
placed before him
a moist red velvet confection
framed by pearl white frosting
with lustful  abandon
he plunges his shiny fork
penetrating dark pink layers
lifting to his eager lips
the heavenly scented piece
resting against the warm cake
a ball of vanilla ice cream melts
saturating the pink walls
all is now the harmonious  color
of strawberries with cream
with reluctance he finishes
licking her plate clean
