All Alone In A Crowded Room
She sits all alone in a crowded room.
This party will hopefully end soon.
Nobody ever notices her.
Just another lonely, broken girl.
They don't care how she feels.
She's hardly even real.
Poor little China Doll.
Did you have another fall?
Did you finally break into a million pieces?
Are you going to find a permanent release?
Stupid girl, they don't see you.
They're so blind they don't know the sky is blue.
Going through life not glancing at the stars.
So beautiful yet so very far.
All they have to do is look up.
Just take another step.
Don't look back.
Their love will always slack.
People don't change.
Their feelings don't rearrange.
They only notice themselves.
Keep looking at the books on your shelf.
Don't lose who you are.
You don't need anymore scars.
Will you ever be able to fix yourself?
You're supposed to be unbroken, miss.
What will they say when they see inside?
You're not going to be able to always hide.
Someone will see the pain in your eyes.
You're not going to be able to lie.
They're going to know your smile is fake.
It's okay for the tears to finally wake.
It's okay to let it all out.
They won't look at you full of doubt.
Break out of your shell.
It's okay that you fell.
It's okay that you can no longer hold it in.
It's okay that your poetry holds everything within.
It's finally all okay.
You're doing it the right way.
