Well, THAT I can return, Speak, I love your poems, too! Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
My first idea on the third line was quite similar but far too sexually orientated for the love category. So I opted for the current line :-(. Too shy, I guess :-).

This is something of which I'm really glad! Your sharing the love for haiku means so much to me, Poe! Thank you for that thrilling comment!

Your compliment makes me blush since I got to know you as a haiku master of the finest. Thank you so much, LSP! Your comment makes me happy!
Question: Why the (well, not only) dative/direction indicating particle 'ni' with Chiyo? Can't find my Japanese grammar book :-(.

Ever since you posed this question I've been searching for the explanation for my edification as well ... And still haven't found out why : (
I just finished a short volume of haiku by David Cobb, and it mentions she was known as Chiyo-ni and Chiyo-jo as well.

She is mentioned as Chiyo-ni and Kaga no Chiyo, too.
I'm still investigating ... Thanks for your response. Tell me, please, when/if you find an explanation!

I love to work with words. It's part of my job but it's rather Spanish than English I work with. Glad you like it, Sara!

Short and sweet poems are so much like poetry refreshers after so many long pieces.

Haha! Thank you, that's exactly my standpoint. I don't like to bother others with epic pieces ... mostly not.
