won a lawsuit against them for 900,000 dollars

regarding deceptive advertising,

which is peanuts, but then the next whammy was the

Feds stepped in and fined them 24.5 million dollars

which is starting to be some real cash

Plus, they are not allowed to advertise until they submit two

'real' studies showing evidence of weight loss.

You see, the studies they touted, were run by the company itself,

and did not follow scientific protocol.  They also advertised

that they actually did have a 'peer reviewed' study in a certain scientific journal, but that scientific journal, in court , stated nope, they dont have any articles printed by us!
