Monotony
She woke up again today
She wished she didn't
She didnt want to see
rays of morning sun
peeping into her room
a tedious cycle of days
merging to create history
in her mind's meager library
with anticipated monotony
days like a flatliner
She did her toilet
as she always do
made her face
dressed herself
walk out the door
It was another miserable day
Shining sun with blustery wind
accosted by children begging
old man tipped his hat
the washlady waved
She reached her workplace
Her receptionist said hi
She inwardly groaned
She would be doing this tomorrow
like being in repitition hell.
She wished she didn't
She didnt want to see
rays of morning sun
peeping into her room
a tedious cycle of days
merging to create history
in her mind's meager library
with anticipated monotony
days like a flatliner
She did her toilet

made her face
dressed herself

It was another miserable day
Shining sun with blustery wind
accosted by children begging
old man tipped his hat

She would be doing this tomorrow
like being in repitition hell.
