She Was...

Swarmed with voices and emotions,
she was the central hive.
Bees that buzz of a brighter future,
of happier times, of a happier girl.

Bending with the breeze,
she was the flower.
Petals left her fate, future, and feelings
up to chance.

Panicking from all the fright,
she was the victim.
Abusers stripped her of innocence,
happiness, and serenity.

Numbed from all the pain and strife,
she was the cadaver.
Razors and knives tear every inch
of porcelain skin to shreds.

Pouncing to obtain the reward,
she was the pinata.
Blinded individuals break her open
and take all that she has left to give.

Ravaging to fill the void,
she was the dead carcass.
Vultures that peck apart the shell
of the once stable girl.

Presented at the gates of hell,
she is the unfamiliar spirit.
Remnants of her past haunted,
tormented, and tortured the fallen angel.
