They Dug It Out
Don't get too close,
It's where my demons hide.
Don't try too hard,
Your soul will blacken like mine.
Knock down my walls?
Ha, I'll destroy your castle!
Cry for my sanity?
A joke! Not worth the hassle.
I prefer the silence
Of sorrow and regret.
I bask in the chaos
Of hate and ill-conscienced intent.
Love hath no place in me
To burrow its muzzle;
Maybe once did it,
But my demons dug it out.
Along with my
Sympathy, empathy, and struggle.
Alas, I was freed!
The demons had finally enveloped me.
Now, I simply walk alongside the debris.
Love hath no place in me
To burrow its muzzle;
Maybe once did it,
But my demons dug it out.
Along with my
Sympathy, empathy, and struggle.
Alas, I was freed!
The demons had finally enveloped me.
Now, I simply walk alongside the debris.
