An Evening Walk
Walking in the park
on a blustery evening
Cold wind blowing
against my face
Falling leaves
caught in my hair
I kept on walking
Colours of autumn
around me
I think of home
Where Sumner days
are everyday, all year
warm waves crash the shore
flowers with vibrant colours
Missing you my Eastern sky
I gave you up
For my beloved
For under that azure vastness
Him, I was missing.
on a blustery evening
Cold wind blowing
against my face
Falling leaves
caught in my hair
I kept on walking
Colours of autumn
around me
I think of home
Where Sumner days
are everyday, all year
warm waves crash the shore
flowers with vibrant colours
Missing you my Eastern sky
I gave you up
For my beloved
For under that azure vastness
Him, I was missing.
