Blocked... Again
Can't even write a song
Just barely hanging on
Forcing lines and lyrics
From my fumbling fingertips
My muse is escaping
From my minds grasp
Dancing away mockingly
Then coming back again
Just to slam my head
Into the wall
Again
And
Again
I wonder if its the gray
Monotone of the season
Winter chill frosting
Stopping my frequent flow
Can't express my love
How I keep falling in and out
Nor the fear and despair
That creeps up every night
Not even simple small things
When things are all alright
Everything's trapped
Trying to sort it out
Is just plain madness
AGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
In case you didn't catch that
It just makes me want to
Scream at the top of my lungs
Makes me want to ditch
The attempts to be poetic
Just go out and have some fun

...and you should Kitty, listen to your inner needs its telling you something, that it needs to refresh itself, rejuvenate so that you can come back and write better and stronger.
