Young Love
Love is sweeter at the start
When all is new and seems alive
We both carry our hearts on our sleeves and
Profess our love to all we meet
There is a never ending yearn to see each other
Every minute of the day
Our minds wander and walk together
Every chance they get
The endless flow of love
Comes in torrents from a well deep within us
A deluge never ending
Or so it seems
We can't see the other side of happiness and
Are sad that others have fallen apart
Love is sweeter at the start
When all is new and seems alive
Two minds on the same track
Two hearts beating as one
No minute will be hastily spent
For the fear of missing a special event
We cannot leave each other's side
Our hearts full of love and pride
There is no sweeter time in life
When all is new and seems alive
The blossom of young love
Leads us down the path of life

I enjoyed this. Made me think that yes, new love tends to be sweeter, but the love that endures through all the trials life has to give us is the sweetest. Something I have yet to experience but worth waiting for.

That's true but as I have yet to find it I am doubting it still exists. I hope it does but I don't know.
