Fealings
I couldn't stay for more than a few minutes in that bar
The stools are falling apart, and so are their regulars
I feel bad for them(i really do), because they seem so lonely
They just want someone to talk to, thats usually what I say
Whenever someone complains to me of those "alcoholics"
But now that I think on it
Almost always when I have talked to a regular
They seem turned off when the conversation
Isn't about them
I know this because they look away
And sometimes even walk away to some other person
Then I wonder if I'm really that uninteresting
Because its happened to me on many occasion with sober people
And then I really think about it
And realize I do the same thing
It's something I need to work on
But it's a long process
Plus
There's only so many minutes in someone's life
And who am I to think I'm important enough
To take more of their minutes than I should
I leave that fate up to God
Or whatever created the ground
And just feel everything out
