I just read Hamlet, good ol' Shakespeare's influence has touched us all. I love the amazing fluidity in this piece, Red...like a song! Well done.

I don't write this way very often for the obvious difficulty but there is a innate beauty in the language that speaks to my soul. Thanks SW!!

Difficult mode to write in. I've always been scared to even try. I have enough trouble writing in my own words...

It is, it really is and I will not say I have mastered it, not in the least but I try and learn along the way. Thanks Petit!

Re: Despondent
Obvious here that the word usage gives a very classic feel. The first stanza feels as if is leading to something mysterious; while the second sheds a bit of light on the mystery's source.
As usual a delight to read--takes me back to the first poems that made an impression in junior high. Paul Laurence Dunbar's poems were often recited by mom prior to that but I can't say I actively paid attention.

Such Beauty here Dear Red-A Wow of elegance!!!
I am not one of enough knowledge to say right or wrong...this Write is Gorgeous as is...but putting interpretation in...takes away from it (in my humble opinion)...we all speak English...even if it's Ye olde tongue...those who cant understand it...I doubt will ever venture it.
ok tell me to bugger off now ;)
