My Walk through the Woods

Walking thought the dark woods,
I saw a little girl in a red hood,
Wondering what her name is,
So now we starts the quiz!

Is your name Jenny, Suzie or Mary,
How about Liz, Samantha, or Carrie,
Maybe its Marie, Gracie, or Mandy,
I think I figured it out its Sandy

The girl smiles and face shines,
Eyes sparkle in the sunshine.
Friendly and kind hearted,
It was that day out souls parted!

Fast forward 30+ years near coal city,
I met a lady that was oh so pretty
There was a connection I've known before,
Takes me back to a time I was outdoors!

Same guessing game just a little indirect,
Unable to understand this sudden connect!
Seeing that smile and sparkling eyes,
Feeling my soul jump for joy, 'I REALIZE!!!'

The soul part that was separated from me,
All those years so long ago, like over thirty!
Longing to be with my person who shares,
The one true connection that compares,

To no other in this entire world.
Taking all the proper actions unfurled.
But givin the right repairs,
be worth more than billionaires!
