The Pill I Took, She Took Too
I thought I died
I really did
When she cried
And I hid
It was pain
Rushing through me
But it didn't sustain
The need to see
So when she tried
I felt nothing
When she lied
I was nothing
I was empty
I only had pride
She thought she was dirty
So she died
And I was still
Nothing but a shell
Swallowing the pill
They give in hell
I really did
When she cried
And I hid
It was pain
Rushing through me
But it didn't sustain
The need to see
So when she tried
I felt nothing
When she lied
I was nothing
I was empty
I only had pride
She thought she was dirty
So she died
And I was still
Nothing but a shell
Swallowing the pill
They give in hell
