Embark
I set sail into cold and barren seas
Despite the current, I raise the worn mast
Rose upright, high and still to catch the breeze;
Forgetting waves my ship remains steadfast.
I scud through squalls from shore to ocean’s eye
With great linear velocity for speed
To find and take my prize that’s oh so shy
And surely I shan’t be one to concede
As I use an astrolabe to find,
The star, the endpoint of my lone voyage,
Kronos will have us fated trough his wind
Whether or not on my point of dotage
May this embark on my course be worthwhile
And let the winds help me not to falter
Never to be stranded on a dark isle
Even more so in Davy Jone’s locker
Despite the current, I raise the worn mast
Rose upright, high and still to catch the breeze;
