I keep telling myself
I'm fine
I don't need you
But the empty feeling
In me says otherwise
I spend my days
Trying to bleed
You from my veins
You're my addiction
I can't afford to keep
I've become numb again
You got me to trust
You got me to open up
And let you in
You know my scars
My fears
And my hopes
You threw them all
In my face
Without a thought

Myself to blame
For the state I'm in

a good write Leah, yet I think you need to let that righteous indignation simmer a while longer and then blow the top off... get it out like the emotional puss its become. Say that shit you'll feel bad about saying later..you know! ..the truth that comes from the heart, the raw and honest feelings, not from your mouth curbed by your conscious desire to be fair and equitable..:) JMHO

Believe me its simmering. Everytime she refuses to listen because she is never wrong about anything. I'm wrong all the time, I'm ok with that. But now I'm ranting. But thank you for reading. I do appreciate your thoughts and opinions.
