I should have seen
I keep telling myself
I'm fine
I don't need you
But the empty feeling
In me says otherwise
I spend my days
Trying to bleed
You from my veins
You're my addiction
I can't afford to keep
I've become numb again
You got me to trust
You got me to open up
And let you in
You know my scars
My fears
And my hopes
You threw them all
In my face
Without a thought
I have no one but
Myself to blame
For the state I'm in
I should have known
I should have seen
You only wanted me
When it was your call
I'm fine
I don't need you
But the empty feeling
In me says otherwise
I spend my days
Trying to bleed
You from my veins
You're my addiction
I can't afford to keep
I've become numb again
You got me to trust
You got me to open up
And let you in
You know my scars
My fears
And my hopes
You threw them all
In my face
Without a thought
I have no one but
Myself to blame
For the state I'm in
I should have known
I should have seen
You only wanted me
When it was your call
