Imperfections

So many people see how you look
much like they judge a book:
by it's cover
including the color.
But you are wonderful and bright
just enough to be that light
for those in the dark
who need healing of the heart.
Do not let it phase you
when they say things untrue.
Just let it pass
and let them laugh.
One day they'll see
it's not really funny.
They'll realize they were wrong
all along.
The imperfections are what they see
but even *they* weren't made perfectly...
