Halloween 2008
The sun slinks off sooner
Creeping away from the encroaching Dark
We be-earthed still slumber
Patience, soon
The ground grows less warmer
Keeping its chill form the previous Dusk
Gently, slowly we stir
Not yet, not yet
The air learns how to bite
Closing, the flowers retire back to the Grave
Yawning, stretching, we know
Not yet, but soon
The Days become more Night
The final summer flocks say their Goodbye
Restrained, we coil, prepared
Soon now, it is time.
Creeping away from the encroaching Dark
We be-earthed still slumber
Patience, soon
The ground grows less warmer
Keeping its chill form the previous Dusk
Gently, slowly we stir
Not yet, not yet
The air learns how to bite
Closing, the flowers retire back to the Grave
Yawning, stretching, we know
Not yet, but soon
The Days become more Night
The final summer flocks say their Goodbye
Restrained, we coil, prepared
Soon now, it is time.
