Scar Kissed Skin
It kissed my skin
Then the blood poured
My wrist in pain
My heart soared
As my scar kissed skin bleeding brand new
I grew wings and I flew
I caught up to my heart, In a chase
But my bleeding wrists had won the race
I didn't get to my heart quick enough
And I flew and flew
Til Heaven opened up
And there ,Oh, there my skin was shiny new
My scar kissed skin I kissed goodbye
And I began to think I should've done this sooner
Now I'll fly
And now I'll never cry
Then the blood poured
My wrist in pain
My heart soared
As my scar kissed skin bleeding brand new
I grew wings and I flew
I caught up to my heart, In a chase
But my bleeding wrists had won the race
I didn't get to my heart quick enough
And I flew and flew
Til Heaven opened up
And there ,Oh, there my skin was shiny new
My scar kissed skin I kissed goodbye
And I began to think I should've done this sooner
Now I'll fly
And now I'll never cry
