A lonely girl.
Filled with pain.
All she wants is someone to love.
Her heart is like a vault.
Over flowing with a passionate love.
Many have came her way.
She opens the door to her heart,
and gets slammed shut right before her.
The slamming door leaves cracks on the walls of her heart.
She promises not to never let that happen again.

in my opinion so my take on this poem is twice as sad as its written to be..
i have also been in this position many times and after being there just once you become so fragile that you try to shut yourself off and push yourself away from all possible positions of pain..
and its very tough. you write about it so supremely.
