Can I speak my own words anymore
or tell from my heart its own
story no, describe unto you what
I have done and what's become my
worth no, I have to tell the
words of another

Not plagiarism, I wouldn't steal
someone else's creativity, experience,
history but these are words, creative-
spark, history coming into my mind
from somewhere else, echoing from time,
writing it down within my soul, Line upon
Line until my life has become His Epistle,
written by His hand in this flesh

Being inspired within me to share, giving
me meaning and commission to speak of it
and be its Witness and it's like a fire
that from telling I cannot with-hold
or it will swallow me whole

I walked alone on the streets one evening
long ago now and was all of a sudden
changed so that what I once was is not
what I am now
It changed me true involuntarily, but
after seeing the New me that was re-created
like a new-born baby and feeling full of
goodness that I wanted to share, I knew
that the one who did this, meant me Good
because He cared

And although I have stumbled and felt myself
pulling-back towards that which I once was
and trying to fight what within me He would
have me become I know that I could never
accomplish this satisfactorily because a
Door has been opened-up unto me and shown
me that this is all illusory

I'm not a fool to say that this isn't real
because I know that we have all been through
to much and seen things that we should never
have to endure and that this Earth is going
thru much hurt but I also know that the,
"Sufferings of this present life will not
compare to the Glory that is to be revealed
in us," (when we get to where we are intended
to be)
