No Vision Today

  

My eyes can't bare
shattered visions today
my sight to mind
won't share
no connections to be made
frozen images
roll around
in my mind of ice
just waiting to thaw out
to the warmth
of your old clouds .

It's like
I dread each step
of all coming hours
with caution I tread
losing my self power
I really cannot tell
if I'm to duck
or I'm to cower
how did we end up
in this hell
from fresh bedded
sprung flowers.
