The Lucky Side of Me
The lucky side of me
is what I have...
the smiling sun
the sparkling stars
the wan beaming moon
they are all part of me
swinging me between
laughter, smiles and happiness
so much fun, o yes!
I absorb the sun-rays
Into my soul
Loving the warmth
Of loving arms
Of flowers fragrance
In mid-July
Buzz of bees
Flutters of butterfly wings
Kisses of gentle lips on mine, o yes!
I dance to the sounds
Of soughing winds
the gentle murmurs
of drizzles on my tin roof
the calls of birds
on dawning dusks
the laughter of children
from distant hills
like a goodnight embrace, o yes!
I am lucky
Living with all
That I have
I am lucky, o yes!
is what I have...
the smiling sun
the sparkling stars
the wan beaming moon
they are all part of me
swinging me between
laughter, smiles and happiness
so much fun, o yes!
I absorb the sun-rays
Into my soul
Loving the warmth
Of loving arms
Of flowers fragrance
In mid-July
Buzz of bees
Flutters of butterfly wings
Kisses of gentle lips on mine, o yes!
I dance to the sounds
Of soughing winds
the gentle murmurs
of drizzles on my tin roof
the calls of birds
on dawning dusks
the laughter of children
from distant hills
like a goodnight embrace, o yes!
I am lucky
Living with all
That I have
I am lucky, o yes!
