How many times I do this for you
"I see red"
No I don't
I'm not part of this big old stereotype
that when I cut myself
all I see is anger...
Red....
I don't,
I feel peaceful
And glad that the blood and the sins and the words are flooding out of me....
I'm glad that maybe, just maybe,
I cut myself so deep that this time
I've done the world a favour,
and this time I won't wake up
I think of you
The times you slapped me
hit me
broke me
made me small
so
so
small
and scared
but when I have that razor....
I'm not scared anymore
I have control....
I can cut
deep
deep
deep
Until all the badness comes out of me again
And maybe you'll love me again
Like you used to
