Phenomenal...this here grips the souls in a vice where your wizardry of words constrict the reader's emotions and thoughts..squeezing out all self imposed illusions leaving behind nothing but TRUTH..deal with it or don't..the blueprint is written right here.....

This is so true to many people...to never
say no, to please everyone, wanting
everyone to like us, to be perfect, BUT
none of that is the truth, but a lie,
a lie we tell ourselves, and until those
free themselves, they will continue to be
the slaves, and they are the ones that
have to see that for themselves. We have to learn to keep ourselves happy and healthy, not
in a vain, selfish type of way, but to learn
to love ourselves enough to take care of.
I love the ending...we lose ourselves when
we become the slave, therefore, we have to
find that light and life in us again.
Very thought provoking poem:).

I understand and sympathize with every word of this - it resonates. The only thing to do is not look back to who you were, but forward, to who you WILL be.

Wow this is a very powerful piece. I can actually relate to this because iv been a slave to my family from a very young age and still am in some ways. So we never really get out of it no matter what we do.
