WHEN SUMMER COMES OUT

(Written, from English male perspective, after a British dating website survey revealed people thought others looked better and more attractive in summer than winter.)

When summer comes out – in the way that it should! –
The opposite sex comes out looking good,
As if to get most of the summer sun’s rays
The sleeves shrink, necklines plunge and the hemlines raise.

Smooth bared female skin, pale or mellowed by tan,
Can raise certain thoughts in many a man.
Add into the equation the summer heat,
You have the best season for couples to meet.

Legs ending in sandalled and nail-painted feet,
Bare shoulders and some cleavage make an eye treat.
Sometimes you get to see a fetching tattoo
That for half of the year may not get a view.

Then you get to see more of their attributes
When they take the plunge in all styles of swimsuits.
The sight of sunny girls in sunny weather
In summer memories go down together.
