Old Man Strength

Blessed!
With old man strength
Now that I'm older
Strong enough to lift the world upon my shoulders
The South Pole on my back...Helps relax, being colder, when the heat gets closer
Like a boulder of crack and one smoker
Seven billion fiends all over, wanting that
Sometimes...
I feel like they're gnats and I'm the giant Atlas
As a matter of fact, I'm big, black, & defiant
Outcast & Pariah
I am the dark...In night's sky
Forged in sin

I, Nephilim

Heroes of old...Men of renown
The bastard children, of fallen angels & women
Disabled on earth
Reviled since my birth
Like an unholy abomination
Although unprovoked, somehow I angered her
Enough to flood & purge me from being anchored, in her dirt
And for what it's worth...
Now I'm a Watcher!
Cursed to observe the present
To see the future looking back
At a colossal experiment gone bad
And wonder why?
Wandering lies in experience
I surmised eons ago
Allowed to survive
No matter how many times I wanted to die
Death had other hopes...Had cruel, ugly jokes, for the likes of me
Like this life in between
Being an obvious spectacle & completely unseen
Reluctantly thankful, for not being made weak
Just barely able to peek at the power
To be fulfilled by the light
The grace and the mercy...The awe & the might
I've seen it!
For it, is within me
It can be seen, so clearly
...for those strong enough to look
