an angry prayer
I pray the fire in my bones pours out my mouth,
and the pockets in my skin, to splash their acid,
the clouds are catching fire,
the heat of the moment,
I see the sun flicker.
I see death everywhere I look,
ignore my life and ask about my book,
judge from a distance,
with no real interest,
like you got the world's address,
I only stand out cause nothing (else) makes sense.
Going nowhere,
they have a cure but the patients don't care.
A terminal world in denial,
and only mouth to mouth brings revival.
No eyes,
No tears.
The planet of the deaf
is all ears.
I talk,
I spit,
spelling out the truth
with a piece of glass my wrists,
pleading an angry prayer
a hopeful mess of words i threw at the wall.
and the pockets in my skin, to splash their acid,
the clouds are catching fire,
the heat of the moment,
I see the sun flicker.
I see death everywhere I look,
ignore my life and ask about my book,
judge from a distance,
with no real interest,
like you got the world's address,
I only stand out cause nothing (else) makes sense.

A terminal world in denial,
