"Men seldom make passes..."
(With apologies to Dorothy Parker - this was a poem built on her famous lines.)
“Men seldom make passes
At girls who wear glasses” –
But my girl enjoys sex
In nothing but her specs!
She’s my ideal cutie,
Of brains mixed with beauty,
The best body and mind
Held by womankind.
She’s a studious lass
Who likes the long grass,
Her schoolmistressy bun
She can let down in fun.

The first verse came to mind more than a year ago, the other verses grew on it last night, a development perhaps unconsciously stirred by a few fair bespectacled profile pics I have seen lately. Putting the theme rhymingly:
A pair of specs need not be a gap
Between a woman and her chap.
