"Diminishing Faith"

Moments of today inspire stories for tomorrow ,
Yesterdays moments inspired feelings of sorrow ~
Windows of opportunity have been closed shut ,
Half way through my life and haven't seen a buck ~
Love and friendships came to disaster finishes ,
The lights getting dimmer as my faith diminishes ~
Forgive me Lord because I'm runnin' ,
I'm all alone and giving up that there's somethin' ~
Nothings clear it's all confusion ,
Day by day I just keep losing ~
I believe in depression so how can it be ,
I'm losing faith in something that I can't see ~
I've walked the steps and paid my debts ,
In return a mess and bad side affects ~
I keep going I continue to try ,
I wonder if you see why the reason I cry ~
No matter what I do i dont think you see ,
When really you are all I need ~
Trapped in hurt and deathly pain ,
No healing cause the devils winning the game ~
Forgive me Lord because I'm runnin' ,
You took it all and gave me nothin' ~
The longer I wait for you to finally see ,
The more I lose faith that we were meant to be ~
