sometimes I think
I use the color pink
to hide my true thoughts
and everything I've got
I don't want others
to be like my mother
to leave me behind
so I hide
everything I do
especially from you
I love your voice
but have no choice
I stay this way
because I hate to say
that things were wrong
all along
throughout my life
nothing felt right
I'm an only child
with a temper more than mild
my siblings are all half
but maybe I like that
I sometimes hate everything
even the color pink

but I can't see this
