POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Losing Reality
I know what's real, I think rationally and have never felt the need to question my sanity. I know what's real yet I've become obsessed by the visions of a delusional state, seen but not seen eyes of all shape and size peer out at me from walls and corners. They never blink so neither do I, their irises are violet and shimmer as if in flame and I feel my eyes burn when I stare at them... But I don't stare in reality I only see them in my mind YET I FEEL the burning through closed lids in blackened rooms...
I know what's real and yet I've listened to the screams coming from the eyes,...
I know what's real and yet I've listened to the screams coming from the eyes,...

Six Years of a Lifetimes
We’re bound in blood, siblings by law.
A familiar mother with separate fathers.
I reside in the middle of our trio…
Six below a Sister and Six above a Brother.
Sister and I lived a fatherless childhood.
Motherless when Foster Care was required…
Six years separating two growing young minds.
Despite circumstances similar our wounds scar separately.
Years pass by and my pains stay hidden inside…
Two thousand and one, A man impregnates my mother.
Six years turning seven and I’m to become a brother.
I see this man and know that he’ll never...

Erasing Your Boundaries
Boundaries set by society serve a single purpose.
They're meant to restrict our growth and inhibit our minds.
Narrow Minds say these activities are wrong, but I disagree.
I believe that a Taboo makes something much more Tempting!
Telling me No makes me want it even more.
Big Brother tells us whats wrong and right, and all we can do is Fight against them.
We free minded men and women must go against the flow!
When we are told No we must say Yes!
When society frowns upon us we need to Smile at Them and Laugh!
Open your mind as far as it'll go,
Leap...

Tick... Tock...
My paint is blood and the body is my canvas; Drip... Drip... Drip...
Hear my artwork form.
I sing with Anguish and History is my lyric; One... Two... Three...
Listen to my Rhythm Grow.
My masterpiece spreads chaos and armies march to my rhythm.
From my mouth spill lies and truths half told.
From my eyes Death watches only waiting to grab hold.
You cannot keep sane in this world I create. Voices penetrate
your ears while my pupils grow unending, unnerving even the
strongest wills and making brave souls cower inside their husks.

Nature's Beauty
I walked outside this morning and beheld a beautiful tragedy,
Mother Nature in all her perfection frozen with indecision.
The frost coating on blooming roses
forever caging her seed.
It was breath-taking to see,
Such a powerful wonder be overtaken by ice and cold.
What a sight to behold...

Drugs
Give me uppers, downers, and hallucinogens.
I'll chase 'em with Vodka and watch your concrete...
Reality...
Bend...
Make me numb or make me run, make me laugh at things not there.
I want the illicit narcotics that make objects seem...
So much more...
There...
You'll see me when I'm up, moving fast while you go slow.
You'll see me when I'm down...
Way down...
Low...
And the best thing is simple really
I take a pill and head begins reeling
I take a hit and my limbs fall numb
But when it's all said and over...
I did...
I'll chase 'em with Vodka and watch your concrete...

Societies Mental Health
I'm the perfect image of societies health.
Outwardly I'm strong and fit, proud of myself.
I walk with head held high, show self confidence with my stride.
I make eye contact and stand straight. Society want's to look like me.
I'm the perfect image of mental disease, but I keep it inside where you can't see.
My body looks strong because it has to fight down my mind, I'm proud I haven't snapped.
I walk with head held high because I'm looking for fights, I'm confident I would win.
I make eye contact with an unspoken dare, anger me. Make me tick and I'll destroy...

The Vanishing Act
This is not a poem, this is a goodbye...
I can almost hear the seconds ticking away on the clock that is time.
I'm almost free from this prison I call my body.
I've almost escaped the Warden I call Mother.
I'll be free to vanish and I want to disappear.
I'm going to drop off the grid.
Be unborn with a featureless face.
Fingerprints smooth as glass.
I'll be untraceable.
Not even my dental records will survive.
And then the end will come.
Maybe I'll find a green meadow, and paint it red under the full moon.
Or possibly a canyon, go out with a bang...

Black Canvased Pain
Darkness greeted my arrival tonight
Insanity wasn't vibrant and colored
It was cold and Black.
Demons of my own creation tore apart my reality.
I groped at sanguine walls coming into view
They met me with the flesh of my family.
Any scream made was lost in the laugh
Coming from my mouth curved into a wicked smile.
The other side of my psych was alive
It drank in the repulsion spewing from my rational mind.
Frozen in terror I put up no fight
When he locked me in the box that was his life
And I saw everything his oppression caused.
A smiling...

Coloring Psychiatry Vivid
I'll turn this room into a piece of art
And I'll do it by painting the walls with my brains.
Brilliant reds and pinks can spray the ceiling
I'll be sure to see some of the crimson hues pool on the floor.
These white padded walls may trap my body inside
But my mind strolls about the halls blotting out the peeking eyes
Always watching. Never blinking.
Irises of Violet and Emerald stare through a bared door.
With my piercing screams their Pupils contract,
Color cracks spilling neon tones around gleaming pinholes.
After such a vivid...
