Pain
7-8-12

It is when you feel nothing but emptiness inside
And it is hard to breathe.

When red hot tears fall
From a swollen face
And you are unable to even close your eyes.

When the memories of you
Come over and over in your dreams.

When you awaken yourself screaming til you are hoarse.
First you blame God
Then you
Then at last I blame myself.

You wanted to know
Know what pain is
It is surviving
When you really don’t want to.

Epiphany  
7-9-12

To take the pain of loss
And replace it with a desire.

To find a way to subside a restless heart
To look within and find a reason to go on.

To play a game with fate
And be sent forward.

To sleep
Is to find fate unwritten

Yearning to dream
A dream
So beautiful
Yet so close to something wanted
needed
Then just as suddenly
It is gone.

A light
Dimly beckons me
Yet I wish to remain.

Is it love that keeps me here
Or fear?

For descent into my dreams...
