as i slept in my car
night after night

i asked if she was hurt
no, boy
i just do that
it's ok
my first sister
was frightened
when she bled
the second
wrote her name
on the mirror
used my towel
teenage in high school
no contraceptives
waiting for the first blood
the starting flag
a few days
to do it like adults
so horny
we forget the tampon
ouch
now you pushed the string
up somewhere
gotta...

I'm a fictional character because I mention drugs. A lot
of fictional characters mention drugs. But not many mention
Western Auto vacuum cleaners. This one was a Wizard, most
of Western Auto's stuff was Wizards. Wizard mowers, Wizard
refrigerators, Wizard washers... Sears bought them in 1987.
I was staying with some friends of mine in a house they were

has served faithfully
for 27 years
reporting each hour
to a weather satellite
(itself in a vacuum
subject only to
solar storms)
just what the
cold waters
of the Bering sea
(and the mirror sea
of air above it)
are up to
all 19 hours of
summer days
and
winter nights
through gales
and calms
and...

it was really a joke
my request for breast pictures
but some smart-ass sent it around...
last night, and today, SO many
and the rate's increasing...
i see in this era of government-induced paranoia (vis-à-vis terrorism,
evolution, and everything reproductive), that a few people have taken
to heart the pronouncement: "all jokes taken seriously".
i was joking (didn't you see that happy face?).
i don't have any beads!!
still, i feel honor-bound not to seem like some kind of degenerate...

with tiny mouths...

in the songs of seconds
voicing
in the minute's chance
speaking
of the hour's progression
daring
in the day's good dance
these red clocks
their double-A's
(both Duracell and bunny)
conflicted smiles
upon their face
watching
find us funny
spinning in the summer sun
creeping through the winter
with brethren they...
