Time.
Do you have any to spare?
Because I ain’t got none.
From the rising of the sun
Till the moment it’s gone
I ain’t got none.
Kids growing up too fast
Time is such a thief.
My baby girl is learning to walk
She’s not yet one,
I’m in such disbelief.
She was just cradled in my arms.
So small,
So dependent.
Every time she needed me,
I was in attendance.
Nuzzled in my bosom,
content while she nursed.
She’s outgrown my lap.
Damn how this hurts.

Mama Needs A Break.
Pitter patter
That’s the sound of little feet
Running, yet again
To meet me in the bathroom
And disturb my peace
Fuck.
I can’t take a shower
Without having 100 questions thrown
at me rapidly
By the little curious person
Who was put on this earth by me.
Mom this and mom that
All day long
I mean damn, sometimes I just want to be left alone…
And don’t get me wrong
I love my kids
More than life itself
But is wrong to want to have time to myself
BY MYSELF? ...
That’s the sound of little feet

Lately I’ve been envisioning myself
Trapped inside your mind
What a beautiful prize
It would be....
To see what you have
Stored under lock and key
I want to see me,
The way that you see me..
Am I everything you’ve wanted
me to be?
Am I the Goddess who you’ve
dreamt of worshipping?

worsening?

The feeling is so warm
and inviting
familiar even...
The devil’s playmate
no voices of reason..
Hand in hand they go...
but I don’t want to play along...
I try and try to fight it
But damn, it’s so strong...
Faint whispers in my ear

From my own self
I never once knew

Child of the Moon.
night time,
is my time...
i thrive in it.
with moon kissed skin
i realize
how deep i'm in...
how deep,
i'm in
love with the moon.
some view it as
dark & gloom
when everything I see
is opposite..
the moon is powerful
and so full of promises...
the sky is filled
with darkness
dimly lit by the stars
much like me...
i'm so intrigued
by it's power
i wish to be awake
every hour
that the sky cradles

as it beams down on the world ...
is my time...
