Battles
Battles
I having a really tough day today battling
I so want to switch off but I cannot let go
All around me I see chaos of my own making
What a waste what a sad waste
Fear can make you feel impotent
Anxiety just distracts you
In life there are battles you can afford to lose
To win the war
Well my love this one battle that I will win
The truth is a powerful sword
I am tired and weary of every waking thought
Worrying about this nonsense
It is time to prepare for battle
Time to face these imposter demons
Bring it on

There are days when I do not tell you how much I love you

Your voice was soft disguising a slight anxiety every word you uttered showed that you cared
You expressed a real interest matched by your body language
