POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Paved Face
In a crack of tar where a pebble couldn't fit,
Light and darkness spar into depths of a pit.
Seeping through diesel and stink of coal,
Exists a notion of my ego and glimpse of my soul.
You see paved over my expressions and that which reveals me,
Is a hardened black reflection that is meant to conceal me.
It's a gummy seducing paste, lacquered on thick,
and i'm meant to see it face to face, whilst daily it muffles me sick.

Our Last Wave
Hum of a silence,
Politely anticipating fear.
Black jasper pierced,
Through the eye in depth's mirror.
Isolated wisp of un-cleansed hair,
Shadows the brow, of a beckoning stare.
Clapping in the sway, rebounding as we float,
A breath gone stale, clenched in my throat.
Animated reflection, squirming as it tickles,
Abstract directions, formed by the ripple.
Then came the cucumber crisp break in the bow,
A titan of death emerged from below.
My grip in a clench, bound to the rail,
Floorboards raised and my crew met Hell.
Mixing in the sea,...

A Red Scene
You wrapped your lips around mine, and heaved in deep,
Air from my lungs as I felt you creep.
Under my feet and carry me away,
Beyond the shore, and into the bay.
Petrified and stoned, my pulse on pause,
I almost couldn't feel the cut from your claws.
A swift slice beneath my breast, and plunged wrist deep:
Where my heart had rest, my eyes, they peaked.
Your hair was down, a wave of Autumn leaves,
Determination in your eyes, a rush as your grip squeezed.
Twist and a jerk, my body released,
Blood drained through your...

Well... Your, Now, Gone
Well…
It’s a little bit odd,
You see,
A word you once had,
Told me,
Was once the body of,
My dream,
And now it’s all gone;
For we,
Have overlooked a challenge,
Indeed,
For the center of balance,
It seems,
Was an uneven distance,
Between,
The two of our positions;
A lean.
Your,
Promises I thought,
Were true,
In reality they hopped,
On through,
The defensive knot,
I drew,
That I kept taught,
And new.
In hopes of avoiding,
A fracture,
And someone toying,
With laughter,...

A Story of Hearts
A heart meets another,
Together the Hearts then touch;
The two hearts share together,
One love, unbroken with trust.
A raging fire of affection,
A devoted pool of tenderness;
One heart, two lives of passion,
One life, two hearts of devotedness.
Over time the hearts become distant,
Then the two hearts withdraw;
Unfortunately these two hearts were unmeant,
This was the two loves flaw.
A heart met another,
Together the hearts then touched;
Those hearts uncertain of each other,
Once loved, but too soon then rushed.

Forgive
If I could still cry from pain or fear,
Maybe God himself would shed a tear.
Is my heart covered by a layer of doubt?
As if the color red could just bleed out.
And in, seep any color of despair,
To scab over without slight repair.
Flaking fungus pores into my lungs,
Drying out speech from behind my tongue.
Muscles never capillate until their rigid.
It't the stress pinching, forcing their distortion.
Till they crack, separate from bone,
Within i'm heavy yet empty and alone.
If I could cry out and not from within,
I'd forgive myself and be...

Your Handling
Hey you, there,
The being with love I see,
Is there love in your arms,
Love to share,
For me?
My soul is tarnished,
Rust rotting the core,
Love once coated,
Fortified bonds to ploy.
Incautiously handed out,
Trusted all, despite,
Some let me down,
In rage, powerless to fight.
Question upon your shoulder;
Did you take or toss?
More important, was there care?
Passion?
Truth in your cause?

Up I Go
My minds jaw chatters and babbles,
It collectively rattles the matters that are channeled in my head.
I've tried pins and needles, the shims and key holes can't hold down;
They creak to crack, wiggle out or snap, unlock the clasp to loose straps!
The music, i've used it, overwhelmed and abused it, cranked up and blew the shit.
There's no tuning out, it's loud, clear surround, like a dog pound, always a hound.
Suppression will build up, choke me, tilt the cup, erupt the veins, release reigns, It's the last lane change.
Sedatives worked well, until my mood fell, I...

A Thirsty Mandible
It's flat, calm and matte.
Might as well be gray, it's all plain.
Shallow thoughts, colorless dots.
Dry wood, a looted hood.
It's lull, or dull, secluded or rural;
A paper skull, soaking a mandible.
Toxic pooled, the toxins fooled,
My mind, so pressurized.
Into beliefs of peace, relief to please.
Shot for shot, drought or draught.
The nights' bought, on a drowned thought.
Scattered open, redundant and moping.
Twinkling eyes, shine thirst over prize.
Hollowed cask, invert to bask;
An easy task, for a quick mask.
Mache once dried,...
