Hey there, thanks for being here

He was my first love
I think about him every night
The way he kissed me always felt right
But now the warm feeling has been left in the dark
As he has taken my heart and burnt out the spark
We were so young and he swept me off my feet
He was always so loving and kind and so sweet
But then things went wrong
Or maybe they were all along
It hurts so bad
But yet I cannot bring myself to get mad
It was three years
He helped me face so many of my fears
He knew all along
That I was capable of being strong
Then he broke my heart
Left me feeling...

Everything
You set my soul on fire
So much hope and desire
To lose you would bring my world crashing down
Leaving a permanently residing frown
I don't wanna lose you
I don't just wanna use you
I just wanna hold you tight
Sleep by your side at night
To keep you in line
Forever call you mine
Your place is right next to me
Luckily that is something you too can see
The late night talks
The daytime walks
Something we can keep
If not I just may weep
You're everything to me
That I hope you'll one day see
So much hope and desire
To lose you would bring my world crashing down

Breaking out
The day you have that dream
That only makes you want to scream
The day that something finally snaps
Breaking everything inside
You want to escape the feeling you've come to know
To be something else
To rebel against who you are
To discover what you can truly be
Sick of being a doormat
Done with being stepped on
For once being able to stand up for yourself
To understand what's right
To make a change that can make a difference
No more being walked all over
Making your own life miserable is far too easy
But I want out...
That only makes you want to scream
The day that something finally snaps
Breaking everything inside

Men
Men can be a tricky thing
The pain they can inflict can truly sting
Once you find the right one
Nothing else can be done
Your love so pure and deep
Forever he you will want to keep
Protect and cherish your dear man
As if til death only you can
Because love it can be tough
Certain moments and fights will be rough
But at the end of the day you know you couldn’t bear to lose
The man you managed to somehow choose
I know I said I’d always be upset
Find a way to always have regret
But he takes that all away
I’m left...

People are a pain
People are a pain
They only seek their own gain
They tear you down
Laugh as you frown
People are a pain
They purely act insane
Ruin lives like it's a game
Then proceed to call life lame
They show no respect
To any elder who still stands erect
They knock them around
Then leave them stuck on the ground
They can be less cruel
Actually become kindof cool
Help you enjoy life in some way
Before you can even say
People are people
No matter what
That's all we can do about that
So just try to live well and...
They only seek their own gain

I had to I'm sorry
The prince was oh so close
But then again was one fatal dose
The fair maiden was quickly pained
In her despair and remains
One hard exterior
No one to be superior
She was fatally alone
Stuck waiting for the man alone
She was trapped in her decision
And knifes cut with such good precision
A way out was all she needed
Was what she said as she simply pleaded
I need you to kill me
Or else they may take me
I don't want to be stuck as one of them
They live their lives told to the hem
I love the prince with all...

Like it's left on your things to do
Trying to seem simple and clean
Instead ending up plain old mean

I get come back to like a leftover
Boys don't understand
That there's a small demand
One guy waiting to stay around
Lurking without uttering a sound
Hiding in the shadows about

People in life
people may think they know you so well
but that's just on the surface, they'll never be able to tell
that underneath your surface does change
you're just kinda strange
you'll never fit in the best
not as well as all the rest
you're something different, something new
people don't know what to think of you
at least your real
something that's the true deal
people feel the need to fake
like otherwise life goes down in an earthquake
they feel the need to be accepted
you accept just being directed
then you want your life back...

Men's complex ways
One day we may understand
What goes on in the mind of a man
They treat you like you're something
But when they're done with you you're nothing
They act all perfect and kind
Just because they know you're blind

Only to have your heart attacked
After each you vow that you're done
Only to get your hopes up on another one
One day we all find one worth keeping
The one that makes it worth all the weeping
So just hold out
Because one day he'll come about
So lose all your fears
And wipe off those tears...

Good things. You'll find em one day
The best time of the day
When the sun sets
You knew in the beginning it wasn't here to stay
Good things always have to end
That is what on the world depends
People laugh people cry
And everybody wonders why
It's because before them there were good things
So of course it had to end
So they laughed and eventually cried
The good thing eventually died
But there's a catch to this simple concept
Not every single good thing must end
Some things must prevail
Those are the things of which are on a greater scale
Nothing of which we can...
