The Concept of Time
What is time?
The limitless progress of existence,
such an intricate conception,
to wrap our perceptions around
It maintains significant order,
while sustaining life of all boarders
But what really happens as time progresses?
Surrounding nature will alter at a steadily rate,
but our minds will alter faster,
interchanging through the phases of life
But what will lie in store for our souls?

causing more commotion util we are old,

Driven out
Walking through the halls
she plays her own song
to the beat of the way she feels
alone in the cold
walking alone
the life she lives is too real
numb to the pain
going insane
she lives to shut it all out
but reality finds a way in
grows in her skin
and turns her inside out
voices surround her
and begin to drown her
with the words she hates to hear
diminished self worth as the days disperse
the words filling up her head
they all want her dead
and their wish is her command

The Love Dagger
Look at the Magnificent view
That shines much brighter without you
This time i'm through
I'm done
Time to get sober
And realize it's over
You see,
this endless cycle just isn't for me
Now I'm setting my self free
And being who I'm supposed to be
These permanent scars
That are fused to my heart
Are a constant reminder of what you aren't
All those sacrifices I made
Should have been saved
For someone that deserves my heart
But instead
You took what I gave
and slowly tore it...
That shines much brighter without you
This time i'm through
I'm done
Time to get sober
And realize it's over
You see,

The Force Within
Death has it's grip tightly wrapped around me
It surrounds me
I feel it suffocate me
making it harder to breathe
by each aching minute
Things are spinning now
my sense of reality is fading
and I am wading through it all
I am struggling to stay awake
I can feel my eyes popping out of my skull
my sense of life is dull
What is this brutal force taking over me?
controlling me
making me live in a constant state of fear
this cant be real
but then again,
I know of no other emotion
All's I know is this force is too...

Inside out
Everyone is moving fast
while I am standing still
As the days pass
I remain where I was before
dissatisfied and spiritless
I am even becoming delirious
I can't be taken serious
for there is nothing left of me
I exist but that is all
A word means nothing unless it is given meaning
You are filled with life
Feeling,
emotion,
you're blithe
with spirit waiting to be released
but me,
I am empty,
reclusive,
solitary,
and it's not fair to me
As time passes
My thoughts are becoming my reality...
while I am standing still
As the days pass
I remain where I was before

I can't be taken serious
for there is nothing left of me

Pain Saved for Later
As I saw him walk out my life
I saw my light
slowly disappear
This is what I have feared
"Genuine" love that wasn't real
How should I feel?
Should I feel sorrow,
as if there's no tomorrow
or learn to move on
this all feels so wrong
you said you'd always stay
but as of today
you're gone
Maybe I should feel
pity and remorse
towards myself
for letting someone make me
and then just break me
pick me up and throw me down
not even making a sound
just a broken inside

As the sun begins to die out
our fears of tomorrow
are dragged out
Once they are revealed
they shall never heal
What's the difference between today and yesterday?
Nothing,
nothing at all
There's nothing to solve
you simply dissolve
Shaken by the branches of life
I must build up all my might
and prepare to fight
Same routine
nothing new to expect
except the same old
But i'm done with the same old

Portrait to the Flame
In a hurry,
I violently scratched my name of the punishing list called life
Using my cold lifeless fingers and a dried out pen
much like the pen,
time is running out for me
There's not much left in me
and I know nothing lasts forever
I held my vacant portrait to the scorching flame
as I watched it disintegrate
each burning piece
one by one
it almost felt like time was still
and I could feel the blood rushing through my veins
At the time it felt warm
but now that I think about it
it may have been just as cold as my mood ...

Ephemeral happiness
It was foolish of me
to imagine eternal happiness
much like the ephemeral flower
never feeling the sun again
when the darkness begins to peel
out of sight
guard your happiness
for the light will
creep up on you and steal your happiness
when you least expect it
In order to find it again
you must dig through the surface
be wary of the surface
for clouds hold a powerful drowning flood above your head
no matter how hard you try to escape it,
you never can
it brings you down lower and lower

Everything is connected to something greater
An apple to a tree,
A petal to a flower,
minutes to the hour,
and even you to me
But over time
Some things lose their connections
What's a house without a family?
What's a body without ambition and emotions?

I lack my greater connection
