Wasted Tears
Here I sit feeling alone.
I try so hard to find comfort.
I reach out, I beg.
I’m dismissed.
Tears cascade down my cheeks.
Driven by loneliness.
Though permanently etched by abandonment.
I sit and cry wasted tears.
Wasted on those not worthy.
Wasted on those I need.
Wasted on those who are not there.
Here I sit feeling alone.

Where is the girl I was in love with? Where did she go? I’ve lost feeling for life while feeling the pain of everyone else.
Like flowers pressed in a memory book, forever preserved, but never the same, never whole.
I’ve gotten so small while loving everyone so big. I’ve gotten lost in life while searching for my path.

When the world seems dark, and you feel alone, just remember:
No one else can feel what you do. No one else has the same thoughts as you do. No one else feels the emotions like you do.
When the world seems dark, you’re the light. When you feel alone, you are the presence.
You are your own hero. You know you’re stronger than the most wicked thought. You know you’re better than the most lowest emotion. You are more than what you feel.
Save yourself. You have the power to do so.
I believe in you.

Tears fall as I try to understand why.
Why has my body denied me.
Why my body has failed.
Why my body hates me.
Everyone around me, it seems, is having babies. While for a year I’ve done nothing but try and try, just to fail each and every time.
I’ve done everything right. I’ve given myself the very best chances, yet, it wasn’t enough. My body is not good enough.

I lie bare, everything now exposed,
My emotions all but decomposed.
Loneliness, suffering and pain,
Seems my fighting was all in vain.
Labeled as a survivor,
I’ve become the lost reviver.
Now haled as the one to admire,
I’d rather be thrown into the pyre.
Make my life mean something,
Rather burn, than feel like nothing.
My torment is too big for someone who feels so small,

Time
I don’t know what to do, I feel so alone.
Family, friends, I have people who love me, but it doesn’t stop the pain.
“You’re loved!” “You’re needed!”
You can tell me till you’re blue in the face, but my mind will deny every single word.
Just leave me be, don’t worry.
I’ll work through it.
It happens everyday, only this time I was too broken to hide it.
My theatre grin wasn’t wide enough, and you saw through the cracks.
Don’t push it, don’t push me.
I need time to recharge, time to remember who I really am.
But until then, I feel alone....
